Happy yellow Easter!

Assembling Kolo Design's birdhouses has become a favorite hobby of my children Juho, 8, and Kiira, 6. "A bit like building with Legos," says Kiira. Recently, they gathered with Jukka-uk the red and green birdhouse he received as a 75th birthday present. Now, in honor of Easter, we put a cheerful yellow version on the birch tree in our own cottage. You have to remember to tell Jukka-uk about the new birdhouse, because he has specifically acted as a guide for future generations in the construction and maintenance of birdhouses.

In the past, we have had and are still using traditional birdhouses with nickers. However, Kolo Design's birdhouses are very convenient. A successful design can already be seen in how the product, assembled in an easy-to-transport package, is packed. Bright colors look great in the yard, but there are also restrained color options. Assembling the birdhouse is easy anywhere without tools: no glue, nails or screws are needed. The product package includes everything you need, including the lanyard, but nothing extra. When the material is Finnish birch plywood and the color comes from ecological wood wax, the product itself is in line with sustainable development. The best thing, however, is that Kolo Design's birdhouse is a gift not only for people, but also for birds. According to experts, there are few suitable nesting places in today's forests. Bird nesting brings chirping to the yard, and perhaps reduces the buzzing of mosquitoes!

Kolo Design's birdhouse is light, but by no means flimsy. Pöntö is promised to last in use for several years. It is recommended to check the condition of the fastening cord every year when cleaning the bed: the cord is easy to replace if necessary. Juho made an insect hotel at the wildlife and animal camp the other summer, the life of which has been closely examined. Now the self-built birdhouses will surely also become a pleasant object of observation for the children, which can also be written about in the nature notebook of the distance school during the corona era!
