Go enjoy nature!
Walking and camping in nature has been studied to have a positive effect on both health and mood! Even a short time spent in nature relieves stress and for many is an extremely good escape from everyday worries. It is very personal what moving in nature means to each person. For some, it can be a longer hiking trip or a fishing trip, but an equally refreshing experience can be, for example, frying sausages at the nearest campfire. The most important thing is to go out into nature!
Here are Kolo Design's five tips on how to make your nature trip enjoyable:
- Choose a nature destination that you like, where you feel comfortable and where you can relax and enjoy nature. If you haven't experienced outdoor activities, maybe your first trip should be to an easy-to-navigate local area.
- Don't put pressure on performance. Nature is of course a great gym, but just being in nature is also good exercise in nature!
- Take a friend with you! Many people enjoy being alone in nature, but especially for inexperienced nature walkers, a friend is good support and security on the way! If you can't find a suitable friend, you can always go to a popular excursion spot, and you'll usually find a new companion there.
- Dress according to the weather and always warm enough. It's also good to have a spare change of clothes in your backpack!
- Take your favorite snacks :)
